The $17 million Treendale Bridge Project was one of our most challenging and rewarding jobs with our friends at BMD. We worked on the construction of all structures to the two-lane, 224 metre long bridge.
Our main scope of works was the concrete in-situ package constructing the abutments, pile caps, wing walls, deck & approach slabs, access stairs & doorways, footpaths, reinstatement works and also assisted with the launch of the beams across the Collie River. The project was completed within scope and today serves as a direct link between the two communities aiding key social connections and essential access for emergency services.

Onslow Road Upgrade - Onslow, WA
Main Contractor: Highway Construction
The Onslow Road Upgrade was a large-scale, two-stage project to improve safety and traffic efficiency in the area. We worked with HiCon on the Onslow Road widening which included completion of the drainage and form, reinforcement and pouring of headwalls, and all RBC construction.

Manning Road On-Ramp, Kwinana Freeway - Perth, WA

The long-awaited Manning Road on-ramp is the first southbound entry added to the Kwinana Freeway in over 40 years. We were engaged by BMD to install Slipform concrete barriers and transitions for the $35 million project.

New Norcia Bridge - New Norcia, WA

Decmil Australia engaged CATS to complete the replacement of the 88m bridge over the Moore River in New Norcia. Our main scope of works was the concrete in-situ package constructing the abutments, pile caps, wing walls, deck & approach slabs, access stairs & doorways, footpaths, reinstatement works and also the installation of the precast T-Roff Beams.

Repeat client BMD engaged CATS to complete the replacement of the Kumarina Bridge, South of Newman. Third Avenue Bridge Replacement - Perth, WA

Third Avenue Bridge is another exciting project on our roster with our friends at BMD. The 1920s bridge needed a complete overhaul to make it safer and more efficient. Our main scope of works was the concrete in-situ package constructing the abutments, pile caps, wing walls, deck & approach slabs, access stairs & doorways, footpaths, pedestrian walkway culverts, curved barriers, reinstatement works and also the installation of the precast T-Roff Beams.
The project was completed on-time, on-budget and even picked up a CCF WA Earth Award for BMD.

Fortescue River Bridge - Newman, WA

BMD MACA JV engaged CATS to complete the replacement of the Fortescue River Bridge, North of Newman. The client relied on us to prepare all our own detailed earthworks so as to ensure correct placement of concrete.

BMD engaged CATS to complete the Form, Reo & Pour to all structures associated to the new Ellenbrook bridge in Ellenbrook. Our main scope of works was the concrete insitu package constructing the abutments, pile caps, wing walls, deck & approach slabs, access stairs, footpaths, reinstatement works and also assisted with the installation of the T-Roff beams and other associated works outside our scope.
